I started as a hair model for a friend of the family at the young age of 13. I fell in love with the profession. The fashion, makeup and styling of hair and the excitement of the hair shows thrilled me. At the age of 15, I had to write an essay to get into cosmetology school. You had to be 16 to be enrolled, but the essay got my foot in the door. I attended cosmetology school throughout high school, graduated early from High School and immediately went to College before attending my own High School commencements. During my second year in college, the family friend I always modeled for talked me into opening a hair salon at the age of 19. I was an owner manager there until I bought her out a few years later. I continued growing my business for the next 30 years. I sold my salon in 2011 to be able to free up time to travel more and enjoy my family.

I am thankful for the respect, loyalty, and confidence for which my clients have displayed to me. I will compensate for it with courteous and professional treatment in a salon cognizant of the health and welfare of my clients.
When I am not practicing my art in the salon, I love traveling somewhere exotic with my husband. I am an avid animal lover. The outdoor wildlife in our yard brings me pleasure along with my own fur baby. I also work for our Award-Winning Ice-Cream store, Dairy Twist Café!
Inner beauty is your job. It is my job to do the rest.
